Bio

Taoan Lu graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2022 with a major in Data Science and a minor in Mathematics. He also got his Bachelor degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in Intellectual Property in the same year. During his undergraduate study, Taoan had extensive exposure to data analysis and machine learning courses and research projects, and has published several papers. In these experiences, he has cultivated great interests in programming, finance, math, data analysis and machine learning. He joined MSCF program to prepare himself better for the fast development of quantitative finance. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in quantitative research, quantitative trading, or quantitative strategy.
