Bio

Prajakta combines natural aptitude for problem solving and extensive coding experience with a passion for devising quant financial strategies. Prajakta graduated at the top of the class of 2019 from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Finance. After graduation, she joined Goldman Sachs in the Equities Delta One team, where she worked on creating optimized, low – latency trading infrastructure for the Asia Pacific trading teams. She then went on to work in the Commodities engineering team, where her team was responsible for developing a market data analytics and financial modeling framework for trading oil and power futures globally. During her time at Goldman, she worked extensively with diverse, global teams to facilitate her personal as well as the team’s growth. Her perseverance and thirst for knowledge earned her a promotion to Associate. Through the MSCF program, Prajakta hopes to further develop her Finance and Statistics skills and build a career in Quantitative Research or Asset Management.
