Bio

Nikhila Kulukuru is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India with an MSc (Integrated) in Mathematics and a minor in Finance. She graduated in 2021 after which she worked at Credit Suisse as a Credit Risk Analyst for a year. During her time at Credit Suisse, she worked on the back testing team where she built robust financial back testing models to detect any extreme credit risk that the bank was taking on. She also worked closely with regulators such as FINMA and FINRA. As a new graduate, she was selected for the CRCO (Chief Risk and Compliance Officer) program at Credit Suisse which opened up the world of finance to her through networking events with industry professionals and various technical bootcamps. In her free time, Nikhila loves to sing, read books, try new cuisines, travel and give back to the community in any way that she can. Nikhila joined the MSCF program to develop further expertise on how she can apply her background in mathematics to the field of quantitative finance. After graduation, she wishes to seek opportunities in quant trading, quant research, or quant portfolio management.
