Bio

Manupriya Gupta graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in 2022 with B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, the most competitive degree in India. Her instinct towards solving real-world financial problems using her rigorous technical skills instigated her to choose a career in quantitative finance. She has filed a US Patent and two published two research papers in domains of Dynamic Cost Attribution and cutting-edge Machine Learning technologies. She was also awarded the prestigious Google Women Techmakers Scholarship in 2020. She joined Carnegie Mellon’s MSCF program to revamp her knowledge of quant methods, data science, finance and markets. With the best-in-class skills of both worlds - tech and quant finance, she aims to apply her multidisciplinary skills in programming, math and machine learning to quantitative research and trading. Through her work and career, she also aims to inspire young women from STEM backgrounds to plunge into the highly competitive quant finance industry.
