Bio

Hanzhang (Hannah) Liu graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with double majors in Mathematics and Finance. During her undergraduate study, she was fascinated by using statistical models and programming techniques to solve financial problems. During her internship at Bosera Asset Management Company, she got a deeper dive in multifactor investment strategy, where she constructed market alpha factors based on different information in financial reports and back tested their performances in different stock pools. Besides, Hannah is passionate about combining fundamental analysis and quantitative reasoning in forming commodities strategy. Hannah joined the MSCF program to further hone her quantitative skills. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a career in quantitative research and portfolio management.
