This course introduces students to natural language processing (NLP) and text mining methods relevant to the study of quantitative finance. Topics include extracting natural language features, sentiment analysis, topic models, and word2vec, among others. The focus is on understanding the foundations of the methods as well as introducing tool-kits for implementation.
