Chemical Waste

Chemical waste is defined as a waste with properties that make it dangerous or capable of having a harmful effect on human health or the environment. Chemical waste can include, but is not limited to:

  • Used or spent chemicals
  • Expired chemicals
  • Non-returnable compressed gasses
  • Clean-up material from spilled chemicals 
  • Waste oil
  • Chemically contaminated sharps
  • EPA listed waste

Chemical waste pickups are conducted bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Requests for pickups must be submitted by 12 PM on Monday. Any requests submitted after that will be collected on the next collection week.
