Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) manages a permitting process. These permits cover all welding, brazing, cutting, soldering, and dust or mist producing activities, and/or impairments to fire alarm or fire protection systems. Permits must be obtained in person at EHS office by all contractors and university maintenance personnel BEFORE beginning any work.
