Bio

I joined Carnegie Mellon as as assistant professor in 2016, after graduating with a PhD in biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that I received an MA in statistics from the Wharton School, an MS in biostatistics from the University of Michigan, and a BA in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Specific Research Interests

My research interests include causal inference, missing data, functional estimation, machine learning, and general nonparametrics, especially in settings involving high dimensional and otherwise complex data. I am particularly interested in applications in criminal justice, health services, medicine, and public policy.
