Started at CMU in 2021, but first in 2018!

The Help Center serves as the first point of contact for nearly any issue or inquiry related to the services that Computing Services supports. I think a good way to describe it is that the Help Center is a lot like an emergency department: We’re essentially jacks of all trades knowledgeable on a variety of different IT fields, which allows us to either help resolve your issue on the spot or guide you in the right direction otherwise.

During my term, I would like to see Staff Council work towards furthering staff engagement at CMU. I’m blessed that my work allows me to meet and speak with so many of the passionate and talented individuals that work here, and as such I know that good ideas are out there on how we can keep improving. The problem I see is that it isn’t always clear how people can voice and implement those ideas. I look forward to working with the rest of Staff Council to help bridge that gap.
