Barbara Smith Women's Mentoring Program

The Barbara Smith Women’s Mentoring Program (BSWMP) is soliciting mentors and mentees for 2018! All are invited to attend our information session to learn more about the opportunity!

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, is observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. This year, Giving Tuesday is November 28 and Carnegie Mellon University is again turning #givingTuesday into #givingCMUday for a 24-hour day of giving.

113 Pounds of Peanut Butter Donated to the Food Bank

The Parking & Transportation Services office collected 113 pounds (1,808 ounces) of peanut butter during their first "Peanut Butter for Citation Payment" campaign in conjunction with Carnegie Mellon University's Staff Council 24th Annual Food Drive.

A shadowing program, called “A Day in the Life,” is launching this October to provide an opportunity for staff to learn about how others are contributing to CMU and for staff to introduce others to their position and department contributions.
