I  began my career at CMU in 2017.

I am a fundraiser for SCS and CMU, raising funds for scholarships, research projects and student support from primarily alumni. Usually, I travel extensively across the US to meet with CMU alums to raise funds, but over the past year I have spent a lot of time on Zoom asking for gifts.

During my term, I would like to see Staff Council I would like to see Staff Council continue to advance important initiatives such as extended parental leave, as well as focus on DEI efforts to ensure our staff body is represented by a myriad of backgrounds and life experiences. Some additional areas near and dear to my heart that I would love to work more on as a member of Staff Council are increased recycling for all departments across CMU - enhancing office reps for recycling, and working with CMU's current green campus plans. I also would like to promote voting among the CMU community - in addition to polling places on campus, I would like to promote primary voting days, deadlines for mail-in ballots, and resources on candidates. Our right to vote is so important, and CMU staff can play a strong role in the future of Pittsburgh by voting for local, state, and federal representatives as well as ballot initiatives that impact us all.

Fun Facts About Me

My favorite quote: "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"

A surprising fact is mostly everything I wear is secondhand, thrifted or vintage. I have been a lover of sustainable fashion for 20 years, and love wearing past styles in new current ways!
