I began working at Carnegie Mellon University in April 2014, after previously serving as the International Recruiter for Old Dominion University. 
I earned a Bachelor's of Education (K-12 Special Education), Master's of Education (Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel), and a Certificate of Internationalization in Higher Education from Kent State University.
I currently serve as the Associate Director of Admissions for the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. 
 
My main responsibilities include; student recruitment, communication/marketing, study abroad coordination, and leading the on-boarding and orientation for all incoming Heinz College students. Additionally, I manage a team of Work Study students, who help our applicants navigate the unknowns of graduate studies. 
During my term I would like to see Staff Council improve and expand the tuition benefits offered to staff, their partners, and dependents. It is my hope that the Benefits Committee will bring transparency to staff, allowing them to understand the background, nuances, and decision making that goes into the benefits package offered at CMU.

People would be surprised to know: I have traveled to over 40+ countries. One year, my travels were so extensive that I had to have extra pages added to my passport!
