What made you want to get involved with Staff Council?

To be frank, I'd like to have tuition benefits extended to the step children of staff members. Currently they are limited to natural born and adopted children. That precludes many staff members, who have blended families, from sharing in the same benefits as others. I tried to work with the Council in the past on this and I felt that I could be more effective if I was a part of the process.

What do you wish more people knew about Staff Council?

That we can all be part of the process of making our voices heard by the administration.
