Staff Council Rep Feature: Ray Mizgorski

Ray Mizgorski is an At-Large Representative.

What made you want to join the Communications committee?

As the webmaster of Staff Council, I wanted to be an integral part of getting Staff Council news and information to the CMU community.

What is your favorite part of being on the Communications committee?

Working with the committee to come up with new and innovative ways to share news and information and I also find it helpful knowing what other Staff Council committees and members are doing on behalf of staff at CMU.

Do you have any tips for employees who may not have experience with web design, but want to learn?

If you want to learn, just jump in and volunteer to take on new skills. There are so many people and resources such as video learning options to help you. When I first tried the CMS, it was a lot of trial and error and reaching out to others with questions (I still do this).

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

Sweet potatoes
