Staff Council Rep Feature: Jaime Rzepecki

Jaime Rzepecki is an At-Large Representative.

How long have you been at CMU and what is your role?

I am currently an assistant director for Conference and Event Services since October 2016, but have been working on campus for more than 11 years. I worked for Marketing and Communications for two years and for a campus dining vendor for five years prior to that.

What made you want to join Staff Council?

Ensuring every voice is heard is very important to me and I enjoy connecting with other staff members and learning more about them and their roles on campus. I hope to contribute to solutions and conversations and am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the decisions that impact staff life.

Do you have any tips for employees returning to campus?

Make the most of your commute! Listen to a podcast, audiobook or meditation app, learn a new language, read a book, walk or bike instead of drive. The list is endless!
