Research

Donahue's research focuses on the oxidation pathways of reduced compounds throughout the atmosphere, measurement of atmospheric compounds, including free radicals and stable molecules, the fundamental quantum mechanics and dynamics controlling reactivity and causing variation in reactivity among related chemical systems, and the nucleation and growth of fine particles in the atmosphere.
