Creative Writing Minor

Students in the Creative Writing program study with faculty who are practicing poets and prose writers. As a student in our workshop classes, you will present your writing for critique to your peers and professors in small groups, allowing you to practice your craft, to experiment, and to grow as a writer.

Interpretation and Argument
Survey of Forms
Two Fiction, Poetry, or Screenwriting Workshop Classes
One Reading in Forms Course
One 200-level or above English Elective
