IT Governance Structure

IT Governance provides a structure to align IT strategy with the business strategy of the university. It ensures that resources are invested in the priorities that enable the university to reach its goals.

The IT Governance structure at CMU enables our business and academic communities to provide feedback, business insights, and recommendations to inform decisions on IT strategy and policy. This is facilitated through governing bodies, councils, and forums.

Strategic prioritizations and decisions are made by the CIO and/or Executive Management Team.
