On May 20th, 2018, the graduate ceremony was held for candidates of master's, professional doctoral, and doctoral degrees.

On May 23rd, 2017, the graduate ceremony was held for candidates of master's, professional doctoral, and doctoral degrees.
2015 - Scott Hall under Construction
The construction of the Sherman and Joyce Bowie Scott Hall was established in 2012 and completed in 2016. It was funded by CMU alumni Sherman Scott (E'66), president and founder of Delmar Systems, and his wife, university trustee Joyce Bowie Scott (A'65). Additional support for the building as well as education and research in energy was provided by a generous grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation of Pittsburgh in 2013. read more

2013 - Celebration of Biomedical Engineering's 10th Anniversary as a Department
During Carnival 2013, BME celebrated its 10th Anniversary as a Department in CIT. We invited alumni back to participate in a panel discussion on the past and future of Biomedical Engineering, and afterwards, they mingled with current students and faculty to celebrate their alma mater.
