An unforgettable debut for Scott Hall

When construction of Scott Hall completed in 2016, the planning committee wanted to showcase the state-of-the-art building to the CMU community and the donors who helped make it possible. Marketing & Communications was tapped to collaborate on the event and lend creative expertise in collateral and environmental design.

Marketing & Communications conceived a “Marvelous View” theme, which encompassed both the new, physical view of the building as well as the vision of all that the building was to offer. This concept shown through the many creative deliverables developed, from the alluring, three-dimensional invitations to eye-catching, creative fixtures in high-trafficked areas at the event. To preserve the memory of the event, in-house photography was developed and etched illustrations on glass were designed—both serving as elegant and memorable donor gifts.

The creative work was a sensation, helping to draw a strong turnout for the event and bringing to life the innovative design and powerful potential of this new facility.
