Bio

Lenny joined Carnegie Mellon in 2005 and has worked in a variety of Student Affairs roles at the University. Prior to leading the Office of Community Responsibility he worked with fraternity/sorority life and was a member of the leadership team in Residential Education. Lenny is one of the College Liaisons to the College of Engineering partnering directly with Mechanical Engineering and the Information Networking Institute (INI). Lenny received a BS in Psychology and a MA in College Student Personnel from Slippery Rock University. His professional interests include alternative dispute resolution and he has completed training in mediation and restorative practices. In his spare time, Lenny serves on the board of a local nonprofit, reads nonfiction (with a preference for local history), spends time with family, and enjoys partaking in the many things that make Pittsburgh special, especially local restaurants.

Bio

Regan McCarty is the Program Coordinator in Carnegie Mellon University’s Office of Community Responsibility, where she combines administrative leadership with a deep focus on data-driven process improvement. As the office’s lead expert in Maxient, the university’s student conduct records system, she is working to develop more efficient, proactive systems with the goal of reducing case volume by 25% through data-informed decision making.

Regan is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College. She is Lean Six Sigma trained and skilled in analyzing workflow trends, building dashboards, and supporting institutional accountability efforts. Her work is grounded in both restorative practices and strategic analytics, aiming to improve student outcomes and streamline case management.

She holds an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Kaplan Career Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Chatham University.

Originally from Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, Regan enjoys gardening, cooking, visiting antique stores, and writing for her sustainability-focused blog, Average Sustainability.

Bio

Originally from Colchester, Vermont, Jacob completed his undergraduate degree in Music Composition at Ithaca College. Jacob also has a Masters degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Jacob comes from Syracuse University where he was a Residence Director in their Office of Student Living before transitioning to Carnegie Mellon's Office of Community Responsibility. Additionally, Jacob serves as both the Housefellow for Resnik House and the Academic Integrity Liaison to the College of Fine Arts, Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Programs. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys cooking, engaging with the arts, and raising his retired racing greyhound, George.

Bio

Originally from New York City, The Bronx, Jarrin completed his undergraduate degree and a graduate degree in Political Science and Student Affairs in Higher Education respectively at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. Jarrin comes from Juniata College where he was an Area Coordinator and First-Generation specialist before transitioning to Carnegie Mellon’s Office of Community Responsibility as a Coordinator and a Housefellow.

As a housefellow, Jarrin oversees the Fifth Neville Apartments. In addition to being a Coordinator for the Office of Community Responsibility and a Housefellow, Jarrin is the Academic Integrity Liaison to Heinz College and the Tepper School of Business. In his spare time, Jarrin enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and his cat, exploring Pittsburgh, and experimenting with photography.

Bio

Originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, Tendai completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in French Studies at Fairmont State University. Tendai also has a Master’s degree in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of West Florida and a Master’s degree in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University. Tendai comes from the University of North Florida where she was an Assistant Residence Life Coordinator before transitioning to Carnegie Mellon’s Office of Community Responsibility as a Coordinator and a Housefellow.

As a housefellow, Tendai oversees the Intersection community which is made up of the Woodlawn Apartments, Roselawn Terrace, and Margaret Morrison Apartments. Tendai has additional responsibilities as the Academic Integrity Liaison to the College of Engineering. In her spare time, Tendai enjoys cooking, watching NBA basketball games, and spending time with family & friends.

Bio

Anjali serves as the Investigator for the Office of Community Responsibility,  jointly with the Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX. Anjali obtained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and later earned a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, Anjali worked as an attorney practicing civil litigation defense. She represented individuals and companies in state and federal court as well as in alternative dispute resolution. As the Investigator for the Office of Community Responsibility, Anjali handles the investigation, and in some cases the resolution and/or remediation, of complaints and reports of violations of University policy or standards.
