Programs and Resources

Building a culture of civility requires intentional effort and accessible resources. By providing educational materials and workshops, we want to empower you to engage in knowledge and skill-building that lays the groundwork for a more civil campus community.

Civility Education

To build understanding and capacity for civility work, workshops and programs will be offered to the campus community. To request a workshop, please complete the Civility Workshop Request Form.

To request a workshop or listening circle, please complete the request form at minimum three weeks prior to the desired date. If there is urgency surrounding the need for a workshop or listening circle, please complete the form and email Candace Okello, assistant dean of Student Affairs for Civility Initiatives, or call 412-268-2075 to describe the need.
