Foundation Relations

Carnegie Mellon’s Office of Foundation Relations - part of University Advancement  - is a centralized resource for CMU faculty and staff who are interested in soliciting funds from private foundations. The Foundation Relations team works to increase the amount of foundation money awarded to support university strategic priorities.

Limited Submissions opportunities

When a sponsor or a donor limits the numbers of proposals that an institution can submit to an opportunity, this is called a limited submission. OSP is responsible for managing the CMU internal selection process for limited submissions. Most limited funding opportunities are announced via email to a distribution group. A list of current and recent opportunities can be found on the Limited Submissions webpage. You can also send a message to the limited submissions email with any questions.
