Considerations & Impacts When Taking a Leave of Absence

Prior to or during a leave, there are some things students should consider, such as financial impacts, as well as impacts on health insurance, housing, etc. It is also important for students to understand which university services may continue to be available during their leave.

Tuition Adjustment

The Tuition Adjustment Policy on the Student Financial Services explains how the timing of a leave or withdrawal within any semester will impact tuition and fees charges and/or adjustments. Questions about leaves and tuition adjustment may be directed to thehub@andrew.cmu.edu
