Joshi's energy-related work focuses on performance optimization of cloud computing and machine learning infrastructure to make it faster as well as more efficient.Education
In June 2016, Joshi completed her PhD at MIT, working with Prof. Gregory Wornell and Prof. Emina Soljanin. Before that, Joshi spent five amazing years at IIT Bombay, where she completed a Dual degree (B.Tech+ M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering. Joshi also spent some fun summers interning at Google, Bell Labs, and Qualcomm.Research
She is interested in stochastic modeling and analysis that provides sharp insights into the design of computing systems. Her favorite tools include probability, queueing, coding theory and machine learning.
Until Aug. 2017, Joshi was a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson in Yorktown Heights NY.
