Bio
Carlee Joe-Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her Ph.D. from Princeton University's Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics in 2016, where she was named a Jacobus and Centennial Fellow.
Research
Joe-Wong's current research focuses on the role of incentives and decision-making in optimizing networked systems, including user behavior modeling, optimal incentive design, and analysis of system operations. Her work employs tools from dynamical systems, linear and nonlinear optimization, and game theory. Energy-related applications include smart grids, energy efficiency for datacenters and mobile devices, and environmental sensing systems.
