Jaramillo Named Lead Author on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently announced lead authors for the organization's Sixth Climate Assessment Report. Carnegie Mellon University Associate Professor of Engineering and Public Policy and CMU Green Design Institute Co-Director Paulina Jaramillo will be a lead author for Chapter 10 of the report, which will focus on Transport. Jaramillo's contributions are part of the IPCC's Working Group III.
The IPCC's assessments on climate change draw on the work of hundreds of scientists from around the world. The organization's reports enable policymakers to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
