CMU Reps Sign MOU on Smart Infrastructure

Early in September, CMU representatives signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chengdu High-Tech Development Zone (CDHT) and The Lab Ventures, LLC. The representatives included College of Engineering Dean James H. Garrett Jr., Civil and Environmental Engineering Head David Dzombak, as well as representatives from the Smart Infrastructure Institute of Carnegie Mellon. The MOU signing occurred in the City of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, and signifies the intent of future cooperation between CMU, the CDHT, and The Lab Ventures.
