Grossmann Receives Award at World Congress of Chemical Engineering
Rudolph R. and Florence Dean University Professor of Chemical Engineering Ignacio Grossmann received the 2017 Award for Long Term Achievements in Computer Aided Process Engineering at the World Congress of Chemical Engineering on October 2. Grossman also gave an opening plenary talk, which briefly summarized the advancements and industrial impacts of the last 50 years of process systems engineering, while outlining future challenges. He argued that “progress in future research areas will still rely on research advances in the basics and fundamentals of Process Systems Engineering.”
