CMU Spinoff Helping to Make Self-Piloted, Flying Cars
On Aug. 23, the CMU spinoff company, Near Earth Autonomy, which makes laser and sensor systems for autonomous aerial vehicles like drones and helicopters, announced a new partnership with Airbus. The spinoff will provide hardware for Vahana, the self-flying car that Airbus is working on in Silicon Valley.
