Mid-Atlantic Showcase
Feb 24, 1pm-4pm ET
The Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation is partnering with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions for the EnergyTech University Prize (UP). Carnegie Mellon will be serving as a Regional Convener, hosting a virtual competition pitch event for students in the mid-Atlantic region on Feb 24, 2022.

EnergyTech UP is a new Department of Energy (DOE) competition challenging multidisciplinary student teams (all post-secondary, including graduate level) to identify a promising energy technology, assess its market potential, and create a business plan for commercialization. Through this business plan competition, students have the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow, earning part of $250,000+ in cash prizes for their efforts.
Regional winners will be receiving mentorship and access to exclusive materials from the DOE. The final national competition takes place at Carnegie Mellon University’s Energy Week on March 24, 2022.
