Faculty Members Present at Science 2011:Next Gen

Three biological sciences faculty members presented this week at Science 2011:Next Gen, the University of Pittsburgh’s 11th annual celebration of science and technology. Dr. Dannie Durand’s talk was entitled “Mixing It Up: Phylogenetic Inference Reveals a High Degree of Plasticity in Multidomain Gene Families.” Dr. Nathan Urban discussed “Neuronal Diversity—Feature or Bug?” and Dr. Alan Waggoner presented “Targeted Biosensors for Pathways in Live Cells.”
