For Presenters

How many children should I expect?

Depending on the nature of your activity/presentation, you can select either a smaller group of children (10 maximum) or a larger group (20 maximum).

What is the age of the children attending?

There are two groups of children, 8-11 years old and 12-15 years old.

Do I need to reserve a room?

If you hold your session inside the CUC, the committee will secure a room for you. You will be assigned a room on the second floor for your presentation, and we will contact you with your room assignment and the time you can enter the room for set-up.

We encourage you to hold your sessions in your area to help show the children more of the campus. It must be on main campus on the same side of the street as the University Center.

Do I need to be available for both sessions?

We would like to offer each presentation twice if your schedule allows. You can choose to facilitate Session 1 (1:15 pm - 2 pm), Session 2 (2:15 pm - 3 pm), or both.

How long are the sessions?

Each session will run roughly 45 minutes. If you volunteer for both sessions, your total commitment will be from approximately 12:40 p.m. – 3:20 p.m., considering set-up and tear down.
