Carnegie Mellon Qatar Welcomes Six New Faculty Members

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university, welcomed six new faculty members for the new academic year.
The new faculty members are: Mohammad Aazam, an assistant teaching professor of information systems; Cristian Dimitriu, a visiting associate professor of philosophy; Madhavi K. Ganapathiraju, a visiting associate teaching professor of computational biology and computer science; Maher Hakim, a distinguished career professor of business administration; Mazen Sidani, a visiting assistant teaching professor of biological sciences; and Anthony Weston, an associate teaching professor of mathematics.
CMU-Q offers undergraduate programs in biological sciences, business administration, computer science and information systems. Faculty members in the arts and sciences teach mandatory and elective courses in a variety of fields.
