Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion
The center works to cultivate a community that advances research, creativity and scholarship to benefit society. The center offers resources to enhance an inclusive and transformative student experience in dimensions such as access, success and campus climate.
Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX
The Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX oversees the University's efforts to prevent and effectively respond to all forms of gender discrimination (including gender identity discrimination) and sexual misconduct such as sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, dating and domestic violence and stalking.
Student Involvement & Traditions
At CMU, work that matters doesn't happen exclusively in the classroom. CMU's Office of Student Involvement and Traditions is the place where meta-curricular, student-led initiatives come to life and shape our community. From planning memory-making moments to supporting ideas and creativity, we show up for students to help them achieve their goals and initiatives beyond the classroom.
Community Engagement & Leadership Development
Carnegie Mellon students have tremendous potential to change the world. With passion and purpose, they aspire to lead in their communities, engage in meaningful community engagement and build intentional relationships with community partners at CMU, in Pittsburgh and across the globe. Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty
The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty is committed to developing and disseminating tools and techniques that better enable colleges to recruit stellar faculty from a variety of backgrounds.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are groups formed by members of an organization with the overarching purpose to unite individuals to a common cause and to provide a structured framework for awareness opportunities for members. Additionally, ERGs serve the purpose of acting as a conduit for outreach efforts for the local community and for other campus initiatives.

Office of International Education (OIE)
OIE advocates for and facilitates international and cross-cultural experiences, perspectives and initiatives. OIE promotes and facilitates study abroad and acts as a liaison to the university for international students, researchers and professors.
