Resolutions Pass!

Campus governing organizations unanimously vote to reduce the amount of EPS used on campus for food packaging.

Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS) "Styrofoam" Resolutions pass Staff Council, Faculty Senate, Undergraduate Student Senate and the Graduate Student Assembly.

The Green Practices Committee will monitor the use of EPS packaging and make recommendations for alternative packaging.   By reducing the amount of non-compostable food packaging we can strive to increase the amount of post-consumer composting stations on campus and reduce waste going to the landfill.
