Translation Workshop III

Course Number: 82-706

Students will further refine practical translation skills and engage in contrastive analysis and critical thinking about linguistic and cultural issues associated with translation from their L2 to English (or vice versa). In addition, they will propose, undertake and complete an approved, semester-long translation project or a series of projects, focusing on the area(s) of specialization chosen by the student to respond to their interests and the needs of their potential, future clients, authors, etc.
