Bio

Ace calls Phoenix, Arizona home and completed his Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies, specializing in Korean and Linguistics at Arizona State University (ASU). He also completed his TESOL certification while at ASU, in addition to an honors thesis through the Barrett Honors College.

After completing studies at ASU, Ace came to Pittsburgh for CMU's ALSLA two-year master's program, continuing studies in English, ESL and EFL. Ace's areas of interest include sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics, as well as technology within L2 learning and L2 learners' interaction in affinity spaces.
