BioShare Shared Facility

Launched in January 2025, BioShare is a state-of-the-art shared facility established by the Department of Biomedical Engineering in collaboration with other departments across Carnegie Mellon University. Located on the 3rd and 6th floors of Scott Hall, BioShare provides access to cutting-edge instruments that support a wide range of biomedical research, such as advanced imaging, biomolecular analysis, and biological sample processing. BioShare consists of three suites of equipment to meet a variety of research needs: Analytical, Support, and Microscopy.

Please use the following statement to acknowledge the BioShare facility for any published research papers, articles, or posters that used BioShare equipment: "The authors would like to acknowledge use of BioShare facilities (1f3eb03) and its staff support."

Please be sure to include the (1f3eb03) code as it allows us to do a simple web search to find all acknowledgements. Giving acknowledgement to BioShare will go a long way in ensuring future funding from the College and University as it is an important metric for measuring research impact.
