Health Professions (HPP)

The Health Professions Program (HPP) is an advising resource for students interested in pursuing a career in a health profession. Such careers include medicine, dentistry, optometry, biomedical research, and medical informant.  For DC students, the sequencing and completion of courses before taking the MCAT exams or applying to Medical School is important; view this ideal plan to complete these courses.

Pre-Law

Students will want to check out the Pre-Law website as a way to help them decide whether Law School is the right direction to take.

Students are also encouraged to contact a Career Consultant in order to decide if the Legal Profession is right for them. They can do so by calling the Career and Professional Development Center at 412-268-2064.Students may also contact the Pre Law Advisor for all students and alumni, Joseph E. Devine, Baker Hall A154 H&SS Dean's Office, jd0x@andrew.cmu.edu, 412-268-2831. Dr. Devine is available to answer all questions about the law school application process.
