Lie down, relax and immerse yourself in sound. Also referred to as vibroacoustic therapy, a sound bath is a full-body listening experience that allows you to experience sound in a visceral way.

Conducted by trained musicians, the Scottie Sound Bath lasts 50 minutes and utilizes vibrations from quartz crystal “singing bowls” to induce deep relaxation. Our musicians will also treat you to short instrumental solos at the end of each session.

We hope that you’ll leave with mental peace, emotional balance and calm focus.

Friday, May 3, 5 to 8 p.m., Rockwell Park, 7514 Thomas Blvd

Situated in a heightened multispecies conflict zone of Koshi Tappu, Nepal, fraught with daily human-wildlife conflict, this exhibit brings forward speculations by students who, despite the difficulty, imagine a pluralistic multispecies worlds of many worlds where elephants, wild boars, fishing cats, fishermen, farmers and even poachers could coexist.

The studio is inspired by the book, A World of Many Worlds by Marisol De La Cadena and Mario Blaser.
