Supercharged learning with H5P for Canvas and Wordpress

H5P (https://h5p.org/) is an open source content creator that enables the creation of rich interactive learning objects within a browser that can then be embedded into a website, LMS or WordPress. There is very little training required to get started, and educators can create and work with a large selection of content types quickly and easily. H5P can also be used by students, for instance by having them label images and create multiple-choice quizzes. The tool thus provides a means to evidence learning, allows students to engage meta-cognitively, and can help students foster an appreciation for each other’s work. In this demo participants will explore how to create certain content types, walk through examples and discuss ways H5P can support blended learning. Participants who bring their own device can create content types by logging into H5P.org directly through a browser, then embed their object into WordPress or LMS.
