I started at CMU in 2023

I collaborate with campus stakeholders to set Tartan Scholars’ strategic direction and provide leadership to all aspects of this four-year program for nearly 500 high-achieving students who experienced opportunity gaps prior to CMU and/or come from limited-resourced backgrounds.

During my term, I will be a source of stability and advocacy during this tumultuous time for higher education. Staff Council should work to ensure the university remains, as President Jahanian said, “steadfast in our commitment to upholding our institutional values”, as well as be transparent, efficient, and empathetic in all university matters affecting staff like me and you. As an At-Large Rep, I will regularly engage with those I represent so that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
