NSF Science and Technology Centers (STC): Integrative Partnerships (announcement anticipated)
Email intent to Judy Coyle by 11:59 PM, May 15, 2017
Submit pre-proposal using the online form by 11:59 PM May 29, 2017 Extended to 06/05/2017
NOTE: The format for the internal CMU preliminary proposal is different for this opportunity. Please follow the format instructions on the online form linked above.
Please note, that there is currently NOT an active solicitation for the next round of NSF STCs. This internal limited submission process is being conducted in anticipation of a call for proposals in the coming months so that project teams selected for a preliminary proposal to NSF have additional time to prepare.
This limited submission process is based on the requirements and constraints that were present in the most recent STC solicitation (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14600/nsf14600.htm).
Information regarding current and previous STCs can be found at: https://www.nsf.gov/od/oia/programs/stc/
A faculty review panel will make recommendations to the VPR on projects that should be considered for submitting a preliminary proposal to the NSF. The VPR will select the final projects in consultation with the Deans. We anticipate final selection of projects in mid to late July.
Prior to preparing a limited submission proposal, we encourage faculty to review the solicitation as well as the information about previously awarded STCs.
