Bio

David Allen is excited to enter his 5th year at the Children's School (his 9th year teaching overall)! He is a Carnegie Mellon alum, having graduated in 2015 from the School of Computer Science. Looking for a change of pace, David found work as a preschool assistant after graduation. He fell in love with teaching and began studying at Carlow University, where he received his M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education in 2021.

David enjoys riding his skateboard to school when the weather is nice. He also loves exploring Pittsburgh's vibrant music scene. In the classroom, you will find David helping children learn and discover themselves through playful experiences as they begin their educational journey.
