I was born and raised in San Francisco, and I've lived in a few cities in the US before landing here in Pittsburgh in 2021.  I completed my BA in Literary Studies at The New School, and my MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of San Francisco.  I've worked in various areas of higher education since 2007.  Animals, baseball, bicycles, crossword puzzles, and running are some of my favorite things.

I'm here to help students engage in their education so they can develop as critical thinkers and strengthen their sense of self through their college experience.  Education can bring equity and compassion to the world, and it empowers us to make a positive impact on our communities and beyond; this is what drives me to support students through degree completion in my role as an academic advisor.  I look forward to meeting all of you to learn how your personal stories will shape your path to graduation.
