Carnegie Mellon is a participant in Microsoft's DreamSpark Premium program. DreamSpark is to be used for teaching, research and other related classwork. It should not be used for administrative purposes. Through DreamSpark, students, faculty and staff have access to numerous Microsoft developer tools, applications and Windows operating systems.
DreamSpark entitlement is available while you are affiliated with the university. There are no perpetual rights after you leave.
You may purchase Microsoft products through the Computer Store at a discounted price prior to leaving. This entitles you to a perpetual software license and includes the option to purchase upgrades.
