I am in my senior studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. I come from Leesburg VA, but now happily call Pittsburgh my home. I am an avid scuba diver whenever I get the chance, however, there are not too many places to dive here. I am a member of a variety of student organizations at Pitt which include the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, STEP at Pitt which is an organization that helps raise service dogs, the Ballroom Dancing club, and the ASME(American Society of Mechanical Engineers). I also enjoy spending my time rock climbing, going to the gym, watching Pitt football and basketball be mediocre, and enjoying everything this city and school has to offer. Through my time in the NROTC program, I have had multiple training cruises. My first was to NSI, which focuses on educating Midshipmen on the standards expected of them and the traditions and ways of the Navy. I have also had two experiences aboard nuclear submarines. The first I was onboard a ballistic missile submarine, USS West Virginia, out of Kings Bay GA. For my second I was sent to Pearl Harbor HI to meet the USS Charlotte, a fast attack submarine. Though these two experiences I solidified my decision to join the submarine fleet and in April of 2022 I was accepted to go to Charlestown for Power School, and I look forward to my service.
