Physical Fitness

CMU NROTC Midshipman meet two mornings a week for physical training (PT) with the entire battalion.  Along with keeping the Midshipmen on a regimented work out schedule, battalion PT serves as a time to bond and forge unit cohesion.  PT generally involves endurance runs, calisthenics, track workouts, or athletic competitions.  Marine options have additional PT sessions geared towards preparation for Marine Officer Candidate School.  Should a Midshipman fall under a satisfactory level of physical fitness, they will be prescribed remedial PT.
